How to Create a Live Report in Oracle Responsys

Live report is a type of real-time reporting that captures and presents data that is constantly changing. It allows for the instantaneous sharing of in-the-moment information that can improve a current process, influence a product’s future release or inform an audience on what is currently happening.

This type of reporting can be a challenge for some as it requires a high level of skill and expertise. By understanding the importance of clarity and concision, developing strategies for engaging audiences, and using technology effectively, reporters can captivate their audiences and convey critical information with ease.

The Guardian’s “Minute by Minute” live reporting tab captures the dynamic experience of an unfolding story, offering a blend of real-time updates, multimedia and community interaction. Each update is time-stamped and adds context to the unfolding story as events occur, enabling readers to engage with the report at every stage.

To access a live report, click the Distributable Live Report URL button in the side navigation bar or the Last 24hrs tab in the Campaign Dashboard. A page displays with the report metrics, which can be distributed to other users without them having a live Oracle Responsys account.

A good live report is a narrative, so it’s important to write in a conversational tone and include the event name, location and who organised it. You can also add tools to make your report more complete – such as quizzes and Q&As – so that you encourage engagement with the content.
