Researchers hope that by in-depth study of Earth samples, more valid evidence will be obtained regarding the existence or non-existence of life on Mars. From a geological perspective, Mars’ volcanic features suggest that the planet may still be geologically active. This activity can create conditions that support life, especially below the surface, where temperature and pressure can fluctuate greatly. Further analysis of seismic movements and topographic changes will provide additional insights into the planet’s dynamics. Developments in monitoring technology have also made research more accurate. The use of drones and surveillance equipment on the surface of Mars allows real-time data collection, providing a better understanding of the Martian environment. All these findings, along with advances in astrobiology, are helping scientists search for answers to the classic question: are we alone in the universe? With various recent discoveries, the mystery of life on Mars is increasingly being revealed.
